Tensile testing system
Tensile testing system The AT10 tensile tester is a universal, table-top tensile tester for rubber, plastics and other materials. This easy-to-use tensile tester has a maximum load capacity of 10 kN and performs multiple tests for quality control and research and development applications. Mechanical oscillograph
The ASTM D11.10 subcommittee has approved proposed revisions to the current test method, ASTM D945-16. The latest version of the Yerzley mechanical oscillograph (AYO-IV) complies with this test method. The instrument is completely computerized and equipped with the latest user-friendly software, eliminating all operator induced errors in data evaluation. There is no graph paper; there is no reading from the graph paper; and all calculations are automated so that results are available once the test is completed. A typical compression test takes less than five seconds, after which the resulting trace and the calculated parameters are displayed. An additional parameter, tangent of delta, the measure of energy loss due to damping, is also calculated and reported. AYO-IV predicts the mechanical properties of rubber, plastics and other polymers.

Ozone test chamber
The OREC 0550-0950 Series ozone test chamber is said to provide continuous ozone measurement and control in one self-contained unit, factory tested and ready to operate. The measurement system is said to incorporate the reliable OREC Model DM-150 ozone monitor, which employs the ultraviolet (UV) absorption principle for ozone measurements. This automatic ozone measurement and control system is specific to ozone and does not require operating chemicals. Temperature and ozone settings are entered via touchscreen, which provides a simple user interface. The control system automatically adjusts its output to compensate for outside factors such as temperature and humidity. These variables may affect stability in manually controlled units. Other advantages of this automatic control system are said to include rapid resumption of ozone concentrations between test cycles, tests proceed unattended, and fast response to set point changes. Air monitoring system
The AirWatch system will clearly verify the presence of dust in production. Companies are able to check the hall air quality efficiently with the AirWatch air monitoring system. The sensor technology is able to determine and document the number and weight of nanoparticles and then analyze it with a smartphone, tablet or PC and compare it to limit values. DiamondBridge is a data interface system designed to improve security and quality on production lines that utilize ink jet printers for the purpose of marking and coding products. DiamondBridge acts as a data bridge between the line operator, quality control personnel and the ink jet printer. It is said to accomplish this by allowing the front line operators to change the codes on ink jet printers at the point and time of production. Moving die rheometer

Scanning laser micrometer
A manufacturer of technology for precision measurement of diameter, ovality, wall thickness, concentricity, eccentricity and inside diameter has introduced the TLAser1240 scanning laser micrometer, a single-axis diameter gauge for the inspection of large products, quickly and accurately without contact. Infrared spectra data library
The LabSolutions IR thermal-damaged plastics library contains infrared (IR) spectra data of 13 types of plastics, both unheated and damaged thermally at 200 to 400C. Many commercial libraries do not contain spectra for thermally damaged plastics, so these data are crucial to laboratories using FTIR spectroscopy to analyze plastic contaminants, according to the company. This includes fields such as chemical, electrical and electronics, petroleum, pharmaceutical and others. The shape of IR spectra of thermally damaged plastics differs from the spectra of undamaged plastics. The thermal-damaged plastics library is said to be exceptionally effective for analyzing unknown samples that commercial libraries cannot cover, such as thermally changed contaminants and defective products.

Statistical process control
An international developer of statistical process control software solutions has updated its Synergy 1000 for the worldwide market. The most noticeable upgrade included in Version 9.0 is the key performance indicator (KPI) dashboard that will allow users to assess, track and analyze factors contributing to production efficiency at a glance. Also of note in this update are improvements to the applications that perform calculating and reporting availability, performance efficiency, rate of quality product and overall equipment effectiveness. Other features that have been enhanced to allow a better user experience include a modified auto note feature that provides more versatility as to what events will trigger an automatic prompt for a user to document assignable cause, corrective action or other events that take place in the process. Inline measuring system
Inline measuring system The Profilemaster PPM10 is an in-line profile measurement system for profiles of all types, made of almost any material. It is the latest model in the company's measuring system product line that uses the light-slit method and image processing. The firm's systems are said to represent the state of the art and are based on almost 60 years of experience. Customer benefits are said to include faster start-up, improved process control and an increase in CpK, less scrap for savings on raw material and post-processing costs, increased product quality resulting in high customer satisfaction, quick and easy installation in an existing product line, seamless integration of the PC-based system in an existing Windows network, and return on investment within six to eight months. The reference profile can be directly loaded into the system as a DXF CAD file. An alternative here is the company's product generator: Predefined shapes (round, rec-tangular, square, rhomboid, L) can be included at the press of a button. The desired measurements can be defined by an operator within just a few seconds. The acquired current product profile is superimposed on the reference profile. Orientation, any rotation and position of the object within the measuring field are tracked constantly. The measured values and deviations from the target dimensions are reproduced graphically and digitally on the screen. Thanks to the reference profile, any changes in the captured contour and deviations from the target profile are clearly visible. The Profilemaster PMM 10 editor was developed for maximum user-friendliness: Various permission levels can be granted, depending on the user.

Tire bulge measurement
Tire bulge measurement The SL3 line laser sensor for cured tire bulge and depression, and runout measurement is the third generation of the high-speed line laser sensor first introduced in 2001. The SL3 sensors employ upgraded firmware and a new calibration process that substantially improves repeatability. Earlier versions of the SL sensor can be upgraded to the SL3. The SL3 is said to be a significant advancement in the state of the art for sidewall bulge and depression measurement. The company will continue to improve the technical performance in order to enable advanced tire measurement applications on the SL platform. Air chiller system
Air chiller system The ACS-2 air chiller system is a mechanical refrigeration system that provides subambient temperature control for mechanical and rheological testing. Paired with a Q800 DMA, Discovery hybrid rheometer, ARES-G2 rheometer or RSA-G2 solids analyzer, the ACS-2 is said to provide reliable temperature control as low as -55C without the use of liquid nitrogen. The earlier ACS-3 was introduced in response to customer demand for performance of low temperature mechanical measurements while avoiding the cost, safety concerns and inconvenience associated with routine liquid nitrogen usage. In addition to subambient temperature control, the ACS-2 also decreases cool-down time between experiments. This is said to result in a typical reduction of total test time by more than 20%, reducing operator time and increasing laboratory throughput.
