Polymer analysis platform
A gel permeation/size exclusion chromatography (GPC/SEC) platform is said to break new ground in delivering the high performance, ease of use and productivity demanded in today's analytical laboratories. The Omnisec platform integrates highly efficient sample separation via the Omnisec Resolve module and high sensitivity analysis using Omnisec Reveal, a fully integrated multi-detector array. The system has applications wherever there is a need for detailed analysis and understanding of natural or synthetic polymers, proteins and macromolecules. GPC/SEC is a two-step analytical process that involves separating a sample on the basis of its size and then analyzing the resulting fractions. The technique is said to deliver molecular weight, molecular size and structural information, all of which are said to define the performance of many industrially important materials.

Versatile x-ray measuring device for extrusion lines Versatility is said to be the hallmark of the X-Ray 6000. With the use of the X-Ray 6000 at the hot end, directly after the extruder or after a first vacuum tank/cooling trough, it is possible to rapidly center the crosshead and to control the line speed or extruder rpm.

Sample preparation set
The FDG sample preparation set is said to be suitable for both cured samples (direct cutting without stretching) and uncured samples. The first unit needs compressed air to compress the uncured sample to possibly squeeze out air bubbles and make the sample tougher by cooling before cutting. The second unit needs electric power and compressed air to stretch a compressed and chilled sample to around 10% in strain, then cuts the sample automatically. The second unit keeps stretching the sample during cutting to prevent the blade from smearing the cut sample surface. Rubber hardness testing The RX-1600 A durometer is designed to measure rubber hardness in durometer A units according to ASTM D2240 specifications. Automatic durometer operating stand The Model OS-Auto Type 3 automatic operating stand provides constant load, controlled rate of descent and application velocity through a geared electric motor and braking mechanism that alternately lowers the durometer onto the specimen and then raises it in preparation for the next test. The OS-Auto also provides an electronic timer that can adjust the amount of time the durometer remains in the lowered position (dwell time). Digital analytical sensors
A new generation of low maintenance sensors and analyzers is said to feature the advantages of digital technology. Power plant cycle chemistry depends on accurate, reliable measurements to enable control that minimizes corrosion and deposits. However, the effort and expense to keep this instrumentation operating can be quite a burden. The DSES-1000 long-travel contact extensometer is said to be an easy-to-use and highly precise tool for measuring displacement in rubber and other soft materials with considerable elongation. Thermomechanical analyzers provide nanometer-resolution length measurements over a wide temperature range.
