GUIDELINES FOR SUBMITTING EDITORIAL CONTENT

DEADLINE: September 1, 2010

The following are some guidelines for sending editorial material for the Rubber Mini-ExpoTM '10 Show Daily: to be published three days during the Expo: Tuesday, October 12th, Wednesday, October 13th, and Thursday, October 14th. Plus the Post Expo Bonus issue after the show.

Please keep in mind that the Show Daily is a different publication from a magazine or journal. Our goal is to present interesting, relevant information for all attendees in the form of brief, concise articles. In addition, our intent is to showcase events and information about Rubber Division committees and events and exhibitors, their products, and their services. All editorial is processed for publication on a space-available basis. The earlier the copy is received, the better the chance that it will be published. And all editorial content is subject to editing or shortening to fit within the confines of a Show Daily.

GENERAL INFORMATION

Send material as an e-mail attachment to Don Smith, at don@rubberworld.com. Include the name of the company and your booth number. Do not send the information embedded within the e-mail message. Add graphic material or images as separate attachments; do not embed graphics within or combine with text. Text should be a Word file; graphics may be jpg, tif, or eps format-compressed/compacted if necessary. If the graphics file is very large, send it on a CD, via a postal service, to Rubber World Magazine, 1867 West Market St., Akron, OH 44313 USA. Identify with the company name and the name of the expo.

We do not accept articles in PDF format.

For articles and press releases: The overall length for each article submitted should be 300-500 words. All materials are subject to editing. And you may submit a different article for each day; we are glad to have them and they will be published on a space-available basis. Preference may be given to Rubber Division copy and to advertisers.

Articles submitted during the event are always welcome but are always subject to space limitations. Articles received before the deadline of Wednesday September 1, 2010 will be given preferential treatment and placement.

For more information, e-mail questions to Charlene Gohs at charlene@rubberworld.com.
