For NR, SBR rubbers and latices, NR reclaim; affects air cures ranging from 24 hrs. at room temp to 20 min at 100°C; retarded by clay and other acidic materials; action with xanthates or carbon disulfide enhanced by thiazoles and thiurams; non-discoloring, non-staining; vulcanization requires zinc oxide and sulfur; fatty acids not necessary and can retard cure; can apply carbon disulfide by painting or dipping compounds thus eliminating danger of precure; for processing and applications see C-P-B.
