Pirelli investors approve separation of Pirelli RE unit, regrouping of shares

Milan, Italy -- According to an article in bloomberg.com by Tommaso Ebhardt, "Pirelli & C. SpA approved the separation of its real estate unit Pirelli RE SpA and the regrouping of its common and saving shares on a one for 11 basis, according to a statement distributed by the Italian exchange. Pirelli & C.'s shareholders will get one Pirelli RE share for each held. The restructuring is expected to be completed by October."
