IRSG adds two associates
Wednesday, July 28, 2010
Singapore - The International Rubber Study Group announced that Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association and Ram Charan Co. have joined the IRSG Panel of Associates. The Automotive Tyre Manufacturers’ Association (ATMA) was set up in 1975, as the representative body of the automotive tire industry in India. The primary function of the association is to be a conduit, providing a two-way communication between government departments and the tire companies. Currently, ATMA has nine tire companies based in India as members, accounting for 85 percent of tire production in India. Ram Charan commenced business in Kerala during 1965 to procure and supply carbon black. Since then, Ram Charan has expanded from supply chain services of raw materials (rubber, plastic, coatings, inks, electrical and electronics printing, construction and adhesive) to technical support for their products to clients.
