Questions Needing Answers:

I use a rubber mount as a part of a vibration isolator. I can
easily find the value of a spring constant based on a simple
experiment. However, I do not have an idea to determine the
damping coefficient.

Can someone suggest how to determine the damping coefficient
of a rubber mount?

Our company manufactures ring gaskets. We are starting to make
rings coated in rubber. We are having some problems with this
process. We are wondering what the best way to elimnate
bubbles from forming in the finished product? What psi should
the press be set to? Also, what is the proper sequence for
bumping, or cycling the press?
